I’ve been getting quite a few emails lately about P90X and how it worked for me. The answer is YES!! P90x does work and it can work for you if you do it the right way!!
I believe there are a few things that are crucial when it comes to getting great results with P90X, and really, any workout program. There’s a lot more to it than purchasing the DVD’s and working out here and there. Here is the winning combination to awesome results with P90X…
P90X (obviously):
- Classic Version worked for me. It worked so well that I never ventured to the Lean version. Before I began my fitness journey, I had to chose between the 2, just like anyone. After taking a peak at the Lean version and comparing it to the Classic version, Lean looked a little to simple to me, and this is coming from someone who had absolutely no fitness background in several years. If you want awesome results quickly, you can’t go wrong with classic! If you want a semi easier P90X, go with the Lean. Either way it will work.
- Workout everyday, no skipping and no excuses!!
- You must do your best! If you don’t you’re wasting your time and fooling yourself. Its not worth the energy if you don;t use it to the best of your ability. Best thing to remember, FEEL THE BURN! When it’s burning and you feel you can do no more, do 3 more reps!
A Clean Diet
- The best advice I can give you is follow the P90X Nutrition Plan, especially if you are just newbie at eating clean. I started from nothing! I had no idea how to eat clean, count calories or any of that stuff. The P90X nutrition guide helped me immensely. If you need help counting calories, go to myfitnesspal.com. It’s awesome!
- Diet is 80% of any workout program, you want results, you need to watch what you eat…PERIOD!
Shakeology
- This kinda goes along with diet, but too important not to single out! Shakeology is a meal replacement that I use for lunch everyday. I can’t explain to you anymore than I already have in previous posts how amazing it has been for me and how much it helped with my transformation. A recovery Drink
- This is a MUST!! You need a recovery drink! Why? TO HELP YOUR BODY RECOVER! A recovery drink replenished your body of all the good things that you lost when during your workout. I use the P90X Results and Recovery drink.
